Smartlabs Hydro Delicate is a unique protein product whose uniqueness lies mainly in its fast absorption. The reason for this is the high content of peptides obtained by enzymatic hydrolysis of whey protein (the degree of hydrolysis is 5). Short peptides (mol. weight below 1000 daltons) make up more than 25% of the protein. The high proportion of short peptides ensures better absorption and retention of proteins compared to non-hydrolyzed protein. The absorption of short peptides is even faster than the transfer of amino acids themselves (due to specific transport), so nutrients reach the body faster than from conventional protein sources. The uniqueness of Smartlabs Hydro Delicate is newly enhanced by the flavoring of cocoa from unroasted cocoa beans (Ecuador). Unroasted cocoa beans contain more than 300 chemically identifiable substances. They are a rich source of minerals and vitamins (magnesium, organic sulphur, iron, manganese, chromium, zinc, copper, vitamin C) and antioxidants containing 10% flavonoid antioxidants.
